Insolvency statistics
The Insolvency Service is an Executive Agency of BIS, which has around 2,100 staff operating from 35 locations across Great Britain and with the remit of providing a world-class insolvency law and regulatory framework and delivering key public services to support that framework, including an effective investigation and enforcement regime.
The Statistical Team compiles, publishes and advises on the Official Statistics on Insolvency including the quarterly National Statistics release, as well as contributing to the development and evaluation of policy and providing statistical advice and support across the wider Insolvency Service’ business areas.
