Policy Futures projects
Foresight introduces the new programme of Policy Futures projects. These new projects aim to provide futures and evidence analysis that fill a specific gap in policy makers' current understanding, using fresh thinking and a cross-disciplinary approach.
Policy Futures projects will
- focus on an issue relevant to UK policy makers that is currently not well understood;
- be sponsored by a UK government department, with a commitment or existing vehicle to take work forward;
- seek to answer a particular question (or questions);
- focus on an area with science or engineering basis;
- incorporate futures analysis; and
- aim to deliver within six to 12 months.
