Creating an enterprise culture

The Prime Minister has set the challenge of making this the most entrepreneurial decade in history, which is reflected in BIS’s work to help change attitudes towards self-employment and promote and support an enterprise culture. The detail of this work – including information on Global Entrepreneurship Week 2011 - will be added to this site over the coming months.

We hope that LEPs will encourage the development of an enterprise culture, working from the bottom-up at the local level with schools, further and higher education and other networks to support individuals who aspire to start and grow their own businesses. LEPs can also play an important part in identifying role models to engage with education.
